Every once in a while brands utilize homeless iconography (or the homeless themselves) to promote a new offering. Often it does not go over well. Perhaps this execution for Indian job site Naukri wentover a little better than some in the past.
When looking for new ways to inspire, I often look to what the art world is doing. While on a recent trip to London I heard about an installation at the Barbican Gallery called the Rain Room by Random International. After seeing this video about it, I am so sad I did not get the time to see it in person.

To get people primed for the season premiere of Showtime's Dexter and Homeland, Interference participated in an activation at Grand Central Station in NYC for die-hard fans and newbies alike.
For Dexter we installed a 24 foot artwork by Iri5 that was a portrait of Dexter and Deb made entirely out of the instruments he uses to kill people.
For Homeland, we brought our Homeland Security Polygraph experts to test consumer's ability to beat the machine and tell if they have what it takes deceive the best.
Finally we created a 3D projection that made the iconic building come to life to promote both shows.
Our work stood beside some other great experiences like a Dexter kill table photo activation and a wiretapp bunker Homeland video game, all in all it was a great time and we can't wait until next year's ideas come to life.
