We had the wonderful opportunity to create the following experience for Showtime at their annual Dexter party at this year's Comic-Con in San Diego.
To celebrate the final season of the popular series we created the concept of a large scale artwork that was made up completely of the artifacts that Dexter uses in his killings. We partnered with the amazing artist IRI5 on the piece.
This is what you get when you mix over 600 knives, scalpels, machetes and other blades of destruction with blood slides, garbage bags, yarn, aprons and various bits of plastic sheeting. Team Interference had some great fun with the cast, the press and the party-goers who had to often be reminded that an open bar and sharp blades should be taken with some caution.
The entire work was 24' x 8'.
Jennifer Carpenter's hair was my favorite part of the installation, although the whole thing was pretty amazing.

Erika IRI5 Simmon's info about the work.
Dexter himself, Michael C. Hall gets the scoop on IRI5's method.
