It looks like mobile projections are still popular down in South America (Santiago, Chile to be exact). Here is one for the Wonderland show Alice on SyFy. I would have liked to see more creative uses of movement as that is what makes this medium interesting to me, but still not a bad job.
It seems there was also a NYC event featuring many freaky rabbits and some creative projection. Would have liked to see it.
