Went to the Helen Beck Gallery last night for the opening of the Whole In The Wall opening. Some interesting stuff to see and a very cool art space. I am glad to see people are still interested in art and experiences like this, despite the economy. It was great to see Graf pioneer Lee Quinones getting his props from so many young people as well.
At first I looked and was a little taken aback. Defacing an anti-smoking ad? When there are so many great ads, just waiting to be reclaimed. But then I looked closer and saw the pure brilliance. Impressed.
I sometimes think there is no hope for us.
